i'm sara m. lyons, and i'm a 28-year-old artist / illustrator based in southern california by way of the northern arizona mountains.

as a lifelong weirdo, my goal is to use my cute, creepy, silly, sleazy, sassy, girly work to foster a sense of community among like-minded people. by putting my original illustrations on teeny-tiny nail decals, i get to see my work where it matters most to me -- at the fingertips of girls all over the world.

i started making my original nail decals on a whim -- i've always loved and been hugely inspired by the nail art community, and while there are zillions of amazing options for nail decals, wraps, and covers, i thought using my own edgy, quirky-cute illustrations could bring something new and special to the table. since launching my first set of CUTE & SLEAZY nail decals in january 2013, my decals have been widely circulated on Tumblr and Instagram, and featured on sites like Refinery29, The Beauty Department, Buzzfeed, xoVain, NAILgasm TV, and the Urban Outfitters blog!
